Archbald Borough Veterans Monument Park Committee News:

The Archbald Borough Veterans Monument Park (ABVMP) Committee will be accepting applications for Monument Tiles on Thursday, February 24, 2022 from 5:00 pm 8:00 pm at the Archbald Borough Building. All members of the U.S. Armed Forces, to include the U.S. Coast Guard and the U.S. Merchant Marine, living or deceased, who are currently serving, or who have retired or have been honorably discharged, are eligible for a tile on the Monument Park Wall. Each unique tile honors a specific Service Member and includes their branch, era of service and option to add your Veteran’s photograph(s), medals, ribbons, logos and/or patches. For a donation of $400.00/tile on the lower half of the wall or $500.00/tile on the upper half of the wall, the custom designed 18” W x 12” H polished and laser etched, black granite tiles will be displayed on the Monument Park wall. Applicants should provide the DD-214 form (Separation Record) or other official documentation of honorable service, photos and other acceptable documentation as determined by ABVMP Committee upon the tile purchase. Assistance is provided by ABVMP Committee at no cost for research and design service and to ensure adherence to established eligibility, criteria and guidelines.
