Recycling Changes due to Covid-19

Due to the current health concerns regarding Covid-19, Lackawanna Recycling Center, Inc. will no longer accept commingle material after Friday, March 27th.

The Center will continue to accept deliveries of newspaper and cardboard. As a result, Archbald will stay on the current bi-weekly schedule for the recycling of newspaper and cardboard.

There will be NO commingle (glass bottles and jars, plastic bottles and jars, and aluminum/steel cans) pickup starting Monday, March 30th. Residents can store clean commingle until the health crisis subsides and services are restored or they can put the commingle material into the trash.
